Eye Records is an independent record label founded in 2023 in South Africa by Jed Eye — beatboxer, performer, and founder. Built on family, independence, and creative control, Eye Records exists to give likeminded artists a home where their vision stays their own.
What We Do
Eye Records was born out of a simple but defiant question: do we hand our dreams to a corporate label, or do we build a family that fights for them ourselves? Jed Eye chose the second path — founding a label rooted in independence, not influence from the outside.
The label exists to uplift the artists closest to Jed — the people he believes in — by giving them the same support system he’d want for himself. No major-label strings. No outside hands on the creative wheel. Just a family business standing behind every artist’s next move.
That family-first foundation is what Eye Records is built on, and it’s what every artist signed to the label can count on.

Our mission is to empower likeminded artists to create and release music on their own terms — at their own pace, free of corporate influence — with a support system built to protect their vision and back their goals.
Vision
Our vision is to become a world-renowned independent label for artists destined for greatness. Eye Records is building toward an in-house videography and photography team, alongside a full-time engineer to record, mix, and master every release under the label — so every artist’s dream is delivered in full, without compromise.
