Jed Eye is a two-time South African Beatbox Champion, African Beatbox Champion, and the first beatboxer in African history to perform at the South African Music Awards. Over a career spanning 400+ shows, he’s opened for Lil Jon, Mos Def, Rapsody, Riky Rick, Khuli Chana, Jack Parrow, HHP, and Prime Circle — and headlined Red Bull BC One performances in front of crowds as large as 15,000 at BTTC.

His work has taken him from corporate stages for FNB, MTV, Top Billing, and Standard Bank to interviews with Hype Magazine, I Speak Hip Hop, 5FM, YFM, Hot97, and national television — plus lead commercial roles for Coca-Cola, Aero, and Sprite.

In 2023, Jed founded Eye Records to build the label he always wished existed: independent, family-run, and built to protect artists’ creative freedom rather than control it.
